How to find who your state legislators are

If you don't know who your legislators are, or what state legislative district you live in, here is a simple way to find out.

1. If you know your state legislative district number, skip to step 2 below. To find your district number, first you need your nine-digit ZIP + 4 number. If you don't know that, you can easily find it at the U.S. Postal Service website here:

http://www.usps.com/zip4/

Then put your ZIP + 4 number into the box on the left at the Project Vote Smart website here:

http://www.vote-smart.org/index.htm

That website will then give you your state legislative district number and the names of your legislators.

2. Once you identify your district number, you can find contact information for your state legislators here:
